Dear Friend!
Greetings from Tarun. I’m delighted to have you here. I’m grateful to you for expressing an interest in knowing about me.
Who am I? Well! I leave that question to the sages, scientists, and philosophers. But, by profession, I’m a civil servant working with the Indian Railways in the Government of India.
Life is a unique drama. My life began in a tiny town in India. I grew up smelling the spices of India and seeing how a piece of cloth, some thread, and labour makes a beautiful garment to wear.
I loved public speaking from my school days. I won’t miss any occasion to make a speech. And you know! India is full of festivals! We plan for celebrations as much as we prepare for the work. That gave me enough ways to fulfill this wish of giving long speeches.
I was good at academia in school life. This enabled me to walk into the Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC) of Delhi University. My appreciation for commerce and accountancy made me fall in love with Chartered Accountancy (CA). I had a brief affair.
After graduating from SRCC in 2017, I joined the Railways in 2018. Probation was exciting. It took me to all corners of my country.
Exposure to many many organisations and a week-long attachment at French Railways (SNCF) gave me a closer look into organisational leadership. Spending two months at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Kerala (God’s own country) was beautiful.
My work at its core involves caring for the people. I am responsible for looking after the interests of 19000+ employees, 22000+ pensioners with a team of 120. It is a joy to work with the people and for the people.
I’ve a deep faith in the goodness of the people. I cherish the authenticity of the character. Talking to people is my nourishment. It gives me the deepest happiness.
I’ve experienced that Gratitude and Giving is a way to smile. Love is the foundation of everything I do.
My vision is to build humanity of undefined humans led by boundless love!
My love to you
